HubSpot Mobile App

Requirements:

  • iOS devices running iOS 16 or later
  • Android devices running Android 10 and above.
  • Ensure the app version on your device is 4.34.1 or newer on iOS, and 2.217.0 or newer on Android.
  • It is possible, but not supported, to run the app on Macs with Apple Silicon. 
  • HubSpot's mobile app won't run on devices running Android 9 or earlier, and iOS 15 or earlier. 
  • For security reasons, the HubSpot mobile app is not supported on any jailbroken devices on iOS or rooted devices on Android.

How to:

Install the HubSpot mobile app

You can download the HubSpot app from either the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play Store(Android devices), or by scanning the QR code below. 

Set up the app

In your app settings, you can manage your Account settings and Preferences

  • To access your settings:
    • tap Menu in the bottom navigation menu.
    • tap settings [bottom of left sidebar]
    • On the Settings screen, you can customize your keyboard, calling settings, notifications, and Dark Mode settings.

Manage your records

  • Open the HubSpot app

  • Open the sidebar menu [hamburger icon, top left]

  • In the left sidebar, you'll see a list of records to choose from. Let's break a few of them down:
    • Contacts and Companies
      • To add a view as a tab, click Add views
        • Select the views you want to display
        • Tap Sorted by
        • Select a property to sort by
        • Tap the property again to sort from ascending to descending
        • Tap View all properties to select other properties to sort by
        • Tap Apply

      • Tap About tab to view or edit properties

      • To edit other properties, tap Edit next to About this [record]

      • To find a specific property:
        • use the search bar at the top
          or
        • tap a property group

  • To delete a record:
    • tap About tab of the record
    • tap Edit next to About this [record]
    • tap Delete at the bottom
    • tap OK to confirm [popup]

Add a Deal

  • Open the app
  • Open the sidebar menu [hamburger icon, top left] 

  • Tap the record type you want to associate a Deal with:
    • a Contact or Company, for example
  • Search for the record

  • Tap name of the record 

  • Tap associations tab

  • Add Deal

Manage activities

You can add, view, edit, or delete activities within each record:

  • Navigate to records [left sidebar menu]

  • tap the record type you want

  • tap the name of the record you want

  • log an activity [top of record]
    • Tap the activity you want to log

  • To add a note, task, or other activity to a record:
    • tap activity icons 
    • tap on an activity to:
      • edit
      • view

  • To edit an activity:
    • tap Edit [top right]
    • make changes
    • tap Save

  • To comment on a note, call, email, or meeting:
    • tap Add a comment [bottom]
    • mention a user in a comment with @ 
    • you cannot edit or delete existing comments on iOS
    • you cannot edit activity attachments in the mobile app

  • To delete or share an activity:
    • tap the vertical menu icon [top right]
    • tap Delete
    • in popup, again tap Delete

  • To view activity attachments:
    • On Android
      • tap Attachments tab
    • On the iOS
      • tap attach on an activity to view attachments
  • To start an activity:
    • tap About tab on the record
    • tap Mobile phone number or Phone number to call
    • tap Email to send a tracked email
    • tap Website URL to open page
    • tap Street address to search Apple Maps or Google Maps for address

Make calls

Please note: the HubSpot Calling tool uses the available minutes allocated in your HubSpot subscription.

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device

  • Navigate to your tasks [left sidebar or bottom menu]:
    • tap Tasks  [bottom menu]
    • tap Home [left sidebar]
    • tap Call
    • for more tasks, tap Go to tasks
      • select the Due Tasks or Future Tasks tab
      • tap Menu
      • tap Tasks in the left sidebar

    • Contacts:
      • Tap Menu in the bottom navigation menu
      • tap Contacts in the left sidebar

    • Companies:
      • in iOS app:
        • tap Menu in the bottom navigation menu
        • tap Contacts in the left sidebar
        • tap the Companies tab.
      • in Android:
        • tap Menu in the bottom navigation menu
        • tap Companies in the left sidebar
  • Tap the task, contact, or company record name.
    • On the task record, next to the task name, tap calling Call

  • At the top of the contact or company record, tap calling Call.

The call dialog box will open.


  • To select a call method, tap the Call method dropdown menu.
    • To call from your mobile phone on the app, select My phone.
      • You can't record calls when using the My phone call method.
    • To call from the HubSpot Calling tool on the HubSpot mobile app, select HubSpot Calling. Your available minutes will be displayed below. To record calls, you must turn on call recording in your desktop settings. 
    • Tap Close.

  • Tap the Outgoing number dropdown menu.
    • Select your preferred outgoing number.
    • You can add additional outgoing numbers in your desktop settings, including HubSpot-provided numbers.
    • Tap Close
  • To start the call, tap Call

  • If you’re using the HubSpot Calling method, you can:
    • Mute the call
    • Turn on speakerphone
    • Use the number pad
    • Take Notes
    • Record the call
  • To end your call, tap Hang up.

Save the call

At the end of your call from your mobile phone carrier or using the HubSpot Calling tool, you have the option to create a call log.

After you hang up a call, the Log Call dialog box will appear. At the top of the dialog box, you will see a call summary including the contact or company name, a job title or company website, the date and time of the call, and the duration of the call.

  • To write notes about your call, type in the Log activity text box at the top of the screen. If you added notes during the call, they will appear here. You can add attachments or tag users in your notes by clicking the icons at the bottom of the text box.
  • To create a follow up task, tap to toggle the Follow up task switch on. Select the follow up date, due time, and reminder notification. 
  • To select a Call type, tap + Call type. Learn how to create call types.
  • To add associations, under Associated with, click the + icon. Navigate the different record types and select additional associations. Associations already tied to the record you're calling from will automatically appear in this section.
  • To describe the call outcome, select an option under Call outcome.
  • Tap Save.
  • The call will appear on the record's timeline.
